Firstly I want to wish you a Happy New Year ♥. I hope all your dreams will come true and you will live only fabulous moments this year. Next I want to tell you a little bit the story behind the object that I got this New Year’s Eve.I am thrilled.

It is a watch…

The story behind Daniel Wellington begins with a trip half way around the globe where Filip Tysander, the founder of Daniel Wellington, met and intriguing gentleman from the British Isles. The man had the inspiring ability to be gentlemanly but still relaxed and unpretentious. He had an impeccable style and loved to wear  his favourite watch, a classic timepiece with a solid, round casting and a dark natostrap. His name? Well, Daniel Wellington, of course.

A strong friendship emerged between the two, and our founder  was inspired not only by the man’s great life stories but also by his class and timeless style of fashion. As we know now, he was so inspired that he decided to name his line of watches after him. We believe that we’ve managed to capture a bit of Daniel and his style in our watches, and a year to date, we trust that Daniel would be proud of what we’ve achieved.

Daniel Wellington, Manual

A beautiful story right?

Due of this watch you can change any outfit. An ideal accessory, when clothes are playing with us and nothing comes right, when everything becomes to hard to finish our outfit.

I love watches.ceas IMG_0160

Not everyone believes a thing can offer us this but according to our beliefs we have a thing through which we evolve and we are understood. Even us say that clothes are a mean to express ourselves. It doesn’t matter what we believe the ultimate purpose is to start trusting ourselves and be confident in our powers.

  1. Morning.
Just read your post concerning the watch. At one time in my life I collected watches; some of the older “Seiko” variety, a classic timepiece, as well, quite handsome, and others you had to wind before the LCD style. Also, a good friend whose dad repaired clocks, had many antique watches that he would refurbish and were worn by the friend (I was somewhat envious). It would be great to encapsulate time within a timepiece, and view lifes events whenever desired to cherish, or glean some measure of instruction, or inspiration from. Enjoyed the read. Thanks.
P.S. Thank you for the follow.

  3. Beautiful. I bought a watch that size about twenty years ago when I was visiting Switzerland. I loved it. It has horses on it. Many people over the years have commented on it. Thank you for honoring me with a follow. Nice to meet you. Meghan

  4. First, thanks for following my blog. Second, my heritage is part Romanian and definitely a place I’ve long wanted to visit. Third, I also love watches. I have at least 20 of them, mostly meant to complement my costumes though I do have one that my dad bought for my mom in the late 1940s in Paris. It remains a treasure I keep close to heart. Love the design on this page. Is it yours?

  5. That watch is beautiful! Such a classic looking time-piece.

And the photographs are a fitting setting for the watch and your outfit! I love your style!

  6. Aaah.. This is a good watch! I hope this watch gives you good vibes the whole year round! I never leave without my watch so the feeling of not having it on my wrist sucks! Cheers! Happy New Year! And thank you for following me! Let’s have a good year! 🙂

  7. Another excellent post, the watch is beautiful, as is the rest of your attire, and you are, of course, most beautiful of all. I truly do love the pictures of Romania, but it certainly does look cold and I think I would have to break out my old clothing from when I lived back East in Winnipeg, where temperatures of -40 were quite common in the winter. Thanks for a great article, take care, and will read you later.
