Since the good weather starts to appear I love to make myself various kinds of shakes, smoothies and juices, which are so refreshing and of course full of vitamins. Once I got a new blender I can’t stop myself. I try recipes over recipes, one more delicious that the other.

I haven’t posted in a long time a recipe on blog and I thought why not reveal to you one that is old, simple and very dear to me. The strawberries are my favorite fruit. I just adore them and what could be better than a strawberries milkshake.

When you will buy some strawberries I bet you will also have some bananas around and you could try this milkshake. Everything will come on its own. It is a drink so delicious, moreover the kids adore it.

Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you have a foamy thick milk shake – Serve straight away!



Honestly this drink is made on my taste and I like to mix everything I got in the kitchen, to learn from my mistakes end the end result to be special to me.milkshake

  1. How interesting: This is almost exactly what I do after yoga, three times a week – except the quantities are about three times larger. If we don’t have strawberries, I like raspberries, blackberries or blueberries as well. But the dried cranberries: that I’ll have to try!

    Hmmm… have you experimented with kefir yet? 🙂 Delicious super-probiotic, costing no more than the milk itself and <3 minutes a day of loving care. I myself haven't tried adding fruit or such since it's already a treat in pure form, but maybe you'd like to try it. Not that you would need the health boost to the digestive system. Your skin already looks great, indicating good digestion. ( Or is that just makeup? 😉 )

  3. When I have ripe bananas I usually prepare a milkshake, but only with bananas, brown sugar and milk. I might steal your idea of adding strawberries and cranberries!

    Btw, you can also prepare your own easy banana icecream: 4 or 5 ripe bananas, juice of one lemon, 400 ml of cream, 150g of sugar. Blend, freeze and enjoy!
